Mayor Lisa Chammings, beloved in Stillwater for her extraordinary sense of compassion and service to the community, was honored on October 2^nd at an HSST event held at Bonnie Brook Farm, the historical landmark and residence on Route 521. Deborah Drumm, President of the Historical Society of Stillwater, read the dedication and presented Lisa with the Distinguished Citizen Award and a Stetson hat decorated with a rhinestone tiara. Hosted by HSST members Dimitri and Sarah Gatanas, the afternoon reception also featured a talk by historian Peter Lubrecht, music by the duo Cracked Nuts and a full-length roasted pig.
